First, I have to explain my sometimes housemate. She's a great lady who speaks English better than I do. When I moved into her house, we agreed she would move out after about a month into the house she was having built. Well, after about 2-months, I discovered the only part of the house that was finished was the outhouse....There was no end in sight. I reminded her of our agreement and after my addressing the issue a few times, she moved to her apartment in the city. This woman is in debt over her head. She's a dreamer who has a million different projects going.

When I got home today, there was a government notice taped to the gate. With help, I figured out it said she owes something like 20-grand in property taxes and if she doesn't pay (or contact the authorities) soon, she'll be pressing license plates in the Pen. So, when they come to collect her valuables, will they collect mine with hers? When they come to collect HER, will they collect ME, too? Has anyone seen Brokedown Palace. This is far from a narcotics situation, but still! Aaaaaargh.
